My name is Chris Hill, I'm a chef and have over 20 years of experience in the food service industry. I've worn nearly every hat in the business—from dishwasher to general manager, and even restaurant owner. My journey across the East Coast has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of food safety and hospitality management.

As it relates to food safety, I'vespent the last 10 years collaborating with restaurants, while also teaching the next generation of chefs, guiding them to achieve certifications at remarkable pass rate, far exceeding the industry standard.

My approach is simple - apply real world industry experience to the classroom. My expertise extends beyond restaurants and the classroom - casinos, hotels, and various hospitality establishments. From food trucks and dive bars to Michelin rated restaurants, I've applied a hospitality focused approach in a way that resonates with food serviceworkers across the board.

Now, through Line Check (A Hill Consulting Company), I’m excited to bring my wealth of knowledge and experience to help businesses achieve the highest standards of food safety and operational excellence.

Additionally, I've served as a contributor to the ServSafe Certified Food Manager Books (Versions 7, 8) and have spoken at various conferences across the world on how to bring food safety to the industry in a practical way.
